This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (916) 550-7471. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Sacramento peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Sinigang is just ok but a rip off for me. Pork has too much cuts of fats and vegetables in it was mostly eggplants and little bokchoy. I didn’t even see green beans. The sisig was just okay and large cuts of fatty meat than a usual sisig. It’s not a healthy place for my ageπŸ˜”

If you’re exploring Filipino cuisine or already love it, this spot is worth putting on your list. The menu has a solid range β€” from comforting classics to dishes that feel a bit more celebratory. I especially appreciated how balanced everything tasted β€” nothing felt overly salty or heavy. The vibe is casual, which makes it easy to come back again and again. It’s the kind of place you recommend without overthinking it.

Came here with five friends, and we had an absolute blast. The staff was cheerful and handled our big order like pros, suggesting platters so we could share. The food was incredible β€” crispy pata was a standout, and every side dish had its own unique taste. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, filled with chatter and upbeat music, making it perfect for groups.

New to the area, and meztisa, I know my Filipino food and rarely will eat at a Filipino restaurant because I find the quality of the food so poor compared to my family's cooking. I was dying for some longanisa and decided to give this spot a shot. I ordered the longasilog and was so pleased with my food and the friendly service! The longanisa tasted super good, like it was grilled. It wasn't greasy as I honestly expected it to be. The garlic rice was awesome! Very garlicky and tasted just like you get in the Philippines. They also know how to cook their eggs properly! You would think more people would know how to cook eggs without completely browning and drying out the edges (I have had the absolute worst fried eggs at Thai restaurants). My eggs were totally soft like I cook at home, see photo, and the yolks were gooey as they are supposed to be! The tomato and cucumber slices were cold and fresh. If they keep this quality up I will def be a regular. Service was very polite. The person who took my order did not hear me clearly over the phone, so my order was wrong initially. I got fish instead of longanisa. It looked really good though! I almost didn't go back πŸ˜†! I simply let him

I needed some Lumpia for a small party and found Kusima. Very delicious! For some strange reason it's hard to find good lumpia in Sacramento. I haven't been to every Filipino place in Sacramento but I have tried many. Kusima's lumpia was a big hit at the party. I intend to return and try some of their other dishes. We had the veggie and the pork.
